#คัดค้านการปิดมัสยิดและประณามการละเมิดสิทธิมนุษยชนในปาเลสไตน์
วันที่ 21 กรกฎาคม เวลา 15.30 น ที่โรงแรมอัลมีรอซ ถนนรามคำแหง กรุงเทพฯ บรรดานักวิชาการ องค์กรและสื่อมุสลิมนำโดยศ.ดร.จรัล มะลูลีม อาจารย์ประจำคณะรัฐศาสตร์มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ ร่วมกันแถลงข่าวกรณีอิสราเอลปิดล้อมมัสยิดอัล อักซอ มัสยิดสำคัญอันดับ 3 ของมุสลิม
แถลงการณ์ ระบุว่า กรณีการปิดมัสยิดอัลอักซอ ห้ามมุสลิมเข้าเพื่อละหมาดวันศุกร์เมื่อวันศุกร์ที่ 14 กรกฎาคม 2560 ที่ผ่ามา ถือเป็นเหตุการณ์ที่น่าเสียใจอีกครั้ง จากการกระทำของรัฐบาลไซออนิสต์อิสราเอล ถึงแม้ว่าจะมีการเปิดอีกครั้งหนึ่งในวันอาทิตย์ แต่มุสลิมปาเลสไตน์ก็ยังปฏิเสธที่จะเข้าไปทำกิจกรรม เพื่อเป็นการประท้วงมาตรการรักษาความปลอดภัยใหม่ของรัฐบาลไซออนิสต์อิสราเอล ซึ่งเพิ่มความเข้มงวดจนเข้าข่ายละเมิดสิทธิอันชอบธรรมของมุสลิมชาวปาเลสไตน์ในการใช้มัสยิดอัลอักซอเพื่อปฏิบัติศาสนกิจ
มัสยิดอัลอักซอเป็นศาสนสถานที่สำคัญอันดับสามของอิสลาม รวมทั้งเขตเมืองเก่าที่เป็นศาสนสถานสำคัญของทั้งศาสนาคริสต์และศาสนายูดาย ซึ่งได้รับการยอมรับจากตัวแทนของศาสนาทั้งสามมาโดยตลอด จนกระทั่งหลังสงคราม 6 วัน ใน ค.ศ. 1697 รัฐไซออนิสต์อิสราเอลซึ่งพยายามผนวกกรุงเยรูซาเล็มเป็นของตนแต่เพียงผู้เดียวในฐานะเมืองหลวง ก็สร้างปัญหาความขัดแย้งในกรุงเยรูซาเล็มและมัสยิดอัลอักซออยู่ตลอดเวลา
การเพิ่มมาตรการรักษาความปลอดภัยของรัฐไซออนิสต์อิสราเอล เช่นการเพิ่มแผงเหล็กและเหล็กกั้นทางเข้าที่สามารถผ่านเข้าทีละคนนั้น เป็นการสร้างความกดดันให้กับผู้ที่เดินทางมาปฏิบัติศาสนกิจ ณ มัสยิดอัลอักซอ โดยในระยะเวลาที่ผ่านมาชาวปาเลสไตน์ก็ได้รับความกดดันจากสภาพแวดล้อมต่างๆ ที่รัฐไซออนิสต์อิสราเอลสร้างขึ้นอยู่แล้ว ไมว่าจะเป็นการขับไล่ การรื้อถอนสิ่งปลูกสร้างและทำลายทรัพย์สินของชาวปาเลสไตน์ การตัดน้ำตัดไฟ การตั้งด่านตรวจตลอดจนการโจมตีทำร้ายชาวปาเลสไตน์ในโอกาสและสถานที่ต่างๆ รวมทั้งการสร้างกำแพงสูงซึ่งเป็นเสมือนกำแพงเรือนจำกักขังชาวปาเลสไตน์ให้หมดอิสรภาพและขาดสิทธิอันชอบธรรมในฐานะเป็นมนุษย์คนหนึ่ง นอกจากนี้ยังขอเรียกร้องให้มีการแก้ไขปัญหาปาเลสไตน์โดยคำนึงถึงสิทธิอันชอบธรรมของชาวปาเลสไตน์ในฐานะเจ้าของแผ่นดิน
จากสภาพเหตุการณ์ดังกล่าวทั้งหมด จนกระทั่งดำเนินมาถึงกรณีการปิดมัสยิดอักซอ และนำไปสู่การปะทะระหว่างตำรวจของรัฐไซออนิสต์อิสราเอลกับชาวปาเลสไตน์ ทำให้มีผู้บาดเจ็บจำนวนหนึ่ง ในนามของสมาพันธ์องค์กรและสื่อมุสลิมไทยขอเรียกร้องให้รัฐไซออนิสต์อิสราเอลยุติการกระทำดังกล่าว และเคารพมติของสหประชาชาติทั้งในส่วนของคณะมนตรีความมั่นคงและสมัชชาใหญ่ของสหประชาชาติ
อีกทั้งขอเรียกร้องไปยังโลกอาหรับและอิสลามให้ยุติปัญหาความขัดแย้งภายในในทุกรูปแบบ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นความขัดแย้งทางศาสนาหรือการเมือง ซึ่งสิ่งต่าง ๆ เหล่านี้ล้วนแต่เป็นสาเหตุสำคัญที่ก่อให้เกิดความอ่อนแอขึ้นในประชาชาติอิสลาม อันเป็นเหตุให้ประชาชาตินี้ต้องตกอยู่ภายใต้การเหยียบย่ำของศัตรูผู้ประสงค์ร้าย ซึ่งการยึดครองแผ่นดินปาเลสไตน์มาเป็นเวลากว่าครึ่งศตวรรษจนถึงบัดนี้ก็เป็นสิ่งหนึ่งที่ยืนยันถึงภัยที่ติดตามมาจากความแตกแยกในประชาชาติได้เป็นอย่างดี

Statement
The close of Al-Aqsa mosque on the recent 14 July 2017 in order to forbid Muslims to attend Friday prayer is considered one of the most grievous situations following upon command of Zionist government. In despite of the command to reopen the mosque on Sunday 16th July, Palestinian Muslims rejected to attend prayer to protest the new security measure of Zionist government. The government also enhances restrictiveness that is within the scope of violation of human rights of Palestinian Muslims regarding to attend Al-Aqsa to perform their prayer. Al-Aqsa masjid is the third most important religious place in Islamic world including the old town area which is important place for both Islam Christianity and Judaism. Therefore, Al-Aqsa mosque had been accepted to be important place to three religious until the post of Six-day war in 1967. In 1967, Zionist state attempted to include Jerusalem to be their controlled capital city which caused chaos and conflict in Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa mosque at that time.
The enhance of security measure of Zionist Government, for example, increase of steel panel in the entrance area of Al-Aqsa mosque affecting Muslims to enter Al-Aqsa mosque only one by one was the way to force Palestinian under the pressure. At the time, Palestinian were always under the gun as a result of Israeli’s command, such as the expulsion and dismantlement of Palestinian buildings, the cutting off water and electricity supplies of Palestinian, setting up checkpoint for especially Palestinian , and attacks of Palestinian in several events and places. Moreover, Israeli government built the high wall like prison to make Palestinian feel their freedom and rights to live their lives were stolen. From those situations in the past to the recent shut down of Al-Aqsa Masjid and confrontation between Palestinian and Israeli officers lead to numbers of injured. Thus, on the behalf of The Federation and Organization of Thai Muslim Press, we call for Zionist Government of Israel to cease the violence and pay respect to the resolutions of United Nations Security Council and United Nations General Assembly.
Furthermore, we call for the solution to solve Palestine issues by taking into consideration regarding human rights of Palestinian that they are the rightful owner of this land.
In addition, we demand Arab and Islamic world to end internal conflict religiously and politically. We consider that all these problems that Islamic world encounter right now are main cause leading to weakness among Muslims. Also, the internal conflict in Arab world is considered something that will make Muslims to be easily oppressed by our enemy.Obviously, the good evidence to prove that conflict brings us catastrophe is the occupying of Palestine for about half century.
